Hi Sherryl,Thank you for reminding me of some of my friouavte picture books. The Paper Bag Princess and Princess Smarty Pants are timeless. I love the character 'Olivia' because of her spunk and the humorous situations that Ian Falconer writes for her. My friouavte funny picture book is called, The Useless Troll, by Alec Sillifant. I laughed out loud because of its unexpected ending which had me doing the big belly laugh. It's refreshing to read a book that doesn't necessarily have a happy ending and has a humorous twist.
